Samples in the Algae by Nature laboratory

Quality & Research

Quality you can measure

In-house laboratory

Every batch checked, before it leaves our door

At Algae by Nature, our work doesn't stop at cultivation. Every batch of algae is checked and analysed in our own lab. Under the microscope, we check the purity of the culture, and with targeted analyses we map the composition and quality of the biomass — from pigments to overall product quality.

This combination of hands-on horticultural experience and precise laboratory work is what sets Algae by Nature apart: we don't just know how to grow algae at scale, we can also demonstrate that the quality is right.

Purity

Under the microscope

Before a culture is scaled up or harvested, we check it microscopically for purity. That way we know for certain there are no unwanted species or contamination in the culture — essential for a consistent end product.

Analysis

Pigments and composition

With analyses of pigments and other constituents, we map the quality of every batch, from sample to report. That gives our customers in the food, supplements and nutraceuticals industries a consistent, reliable product.
